Where It All Started

About four years ago my lower back began to bother me.  It was my first year at college and I was playing collegiate baseball.   At one point it got so bad that everyday immediately after getting out of bed, which was a task in itself, I had to go into the trainer’s office for electrode therapy.  Nothing ever seemed to work.

After that baseball season I began seeing numerous orthopedic surgeons with their specialization in the back.  The result went from degenerative disk disease, to simple arthritis and finally they wanted to scope my back for any possible problems that would be causing back pain.

With all the diagnosis came many different medications including high doses of ibuprofen, painkillers, muscle relaxers, and steroids.  Each summer over the past four years got worse.  I could play less and less baseball games because if I strained myself too much I would be able to walk very minimally the next day.

Concerning Symptoms Began To Surface

One more issue arose about one year ago.  I began having heart palpitations that was causing whiteouts and extreme fatigue.  Once again many tests were done medically, but the overall diagnosis was just another test.  Never did my heart show signs of illness on any of the tests. The fainting occurrence could happen at any time.  Before my next appointment, my doctor actually came to see me.

I was playing baseball a few months ago and after returning home, I found myself in so much pain that I could not walk normally, sitting down was painful, and the discomforting pain was terrible.  My roommate, who is a saint, immediately called my chiropractor.  It was a Sunday and he came right over.

From that moment on I gradually became a new man.  I can now swing the baseball bat without pain, I can weight train again and sleeping is no longer painful. Now after four years of pain every day I can look forward to no back pain or heart problems again.  I must truly thank the staff.
